Meet The Team
Daniel Barone
Owner
Dan Barone is the cofounder and Vice President of Barone & Cola CPAs, a unique accounting firm that specializes in small business consulting and operational accounting in addition to tax preparation and planning.
As vice president, Dan oversees all client relationships as well as heads the client accounting services division. Being able to have direct relationships with his clients allows Dan to provide fractional CFO level guidance to small businesses who otherwise would not have access to this level of detail or analysis.
After graduating from Naples High School, Dan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University with a focus on data analytics.
Tony Cola
Owner
Tony started the firm with Dan in 2023. Tony began his college education as a mechanical engineering student and decided to switch to an accounting major. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, and obtained a Masters in Accountancy degree, with a focus in Taxation, from the University of South Florida.
Tony is the Chief Operating Officer of the firm, and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm.
In addition, Tony is responsible for developing policies and procedures as they relate to marketing, information technology, and database development. He also works with Dan in conducting tax research to ensure the firm is both up to date with the ever-changing tax code, and that the firm takes advantage of every legal tax savings opportunity available under the current code.
Tony’s strengths lie in his ability to interact with clients of all ages in an effort to locate the tax savings opportunities and conduct the research necessary to maximize any tax savings.
